Twilight

Okay, so after hearing about this book over and over again, I decided to check it out. I requested it at the library and what seemed like FOREVER, it was finally in. YEA for me! I went yesterday at 4:30 to pick it up. I was apprehensive of starting this book for a few reasons, 1) there has been so much hype on this book that I was afraid I had built it up so much that it would fall short of expectations. This is what happened with My Big Fat Greek Wedding, after all the hype I watched it and was so let down! 2) What if I just didn't like it! haha 3) I have been having a hard time getting into books since Jake has been born because I don't have time to just sit and read. As I started the book I was hooked! I know this is a teen book (Young adult) and I still consider myself young adult so it worked out! hahah I LOVED IT!!! I actually had received the second book, New Moon first from the library and I refrained from starting it out of pure willpower. I loved the fact that the girls name is Isabella, I felt a connection with her immediately, somehow portraying myself into her. Not because I related to her...only because we had the same name! hahah Edward...oh where do I begin? How can you not fall in love with him? I can't wait to start the second book...today because I am addicted. My poor children, I will become a bad mother today while I read this book. Luckily I read Twilight after I put the kids to bed last night. Let's see if I can hold off on starting New Moon until tonight..not gunna happen! I'm such a sap! I am only hoping that I will get the third installment, The Elcipse, soon too so I don't have to wait! I have no patience when it comes to this! Anyways, I don't want to go into details about the book in case there are people who haven't read it yet but just wanted to let everyone know that I am hooked!

Ok so who is the author. I have heard people talking (typing) about them and they sound good. I am ALWAYS up for a great book, especially a love story!!

Did you already finish it? I started Twilight a couple days ago but I am only about 1/4 of the way done (okay, I only got to read one night so far-any time I pick it up some thing calls my attention). I LOVE IT, TOO! I REALLY needed a new book. I can't wait for the next one. I talked to a young girl in our ward and she has the next two and she lives right next to us so I told her I would be over soon to borrow them-sad isn't it! Enjoy!

Just have to say that I thought Eclipse was by far the best and somehow I don't think these books should be young adult...unless you consider YA 18 and over. Stephenie is writing an adult book called The Host that will come out in May and the fourth (hopefully final) installment of the eclipse series will come out in Aug. (keep fingers crossed) I don't think I could stand it if we had to wait for seven books like HP to get this vamp thing resolved. Have a super day.

Oh, I'm so glad you read it!? How fast?? I was lucky and got it during education week, so I had like 5 days with no kids=reading guilt free!! I am waiting for the next one "New Moon", and am so excited! I ordered "Eclipse", and probably will get it today. Let us know how the 2nd one is!!

I just finished the third book, Eclipse, and I am going to make an embarrassing confession. I have a big crush on Edward! Yes, he's a character in a book and I love him! I love the books! I'm sad that I have to wait until next fall for the 4th one.

I read all three books in less than a week. I finished the third one today and I have been depressed since. What do I have to obsess about now? I am sure Carter on the other hand will be elated that I am finished and can be a good mommy again and not be stuck in some other universe.

okay, this is my next read. My sister just finished it and also loooooved it, and she seriously hates reading! Can't wait to pick it up. Don't worry, I was a bad mom for a few days when I read the last Harry Potter book. I totally know what you mean!
