Sometimes I feel like a COW

BEWARE...CONTENTS NOT APPROPRIATE! haha Okay, so I know what you are thinking....Oh you look great for having a baby a few months ago. haha That is not what I meant. Let's not get on that subject, sometimes I just feel like I am nursing ALL THE TIME! Hannah has this song from Sesame Street...I'm proud proud proud to be a cow, I give a lot of milk....That's me! Jake is such a chunker all he does is eat! haha And no...he won't take a bottle. Sleep is something very foreign to me, and I wonder how a person goes on such little sleep and I still really feel alright. Oh well! He is also teething, which means lots of crying. I tell you, it's a good thing he's a cutie! I love tylenol, orajel and teething tablets, when they work atleast! haha Our other newest obstacle is potty training. Zach is doing GREAT! He loves to stand up and pee and gets most of the pee in the potty but refuses to poo in the toilet! I still haven't gotten him to go ONCE! Everyday we have poop in the underwear..what to do, what to do. Nothing I guess it will just take time. This just reminds me how much I hate potty training. If anybody has any ideas, please share! Hannah is just SOO INTO Hannah Montana. For those of you who don't know who that is consider yourself lucky! She is this cute girl (Billy Ray Cyrus's daughter), and has this little tv show on disney about her and anyways, she sings and Hannah loves it! To be honest though, her songs are very catchy and I find myself knowing all the words to the songs and dancing around too. You know it's bad when your kids aren't around and you find yourself watching Hannah Montana and singing along with her. It's time when I catch myself doing this that I immediately scold myself and laugh. Our anniversary was on Monday, but Jon was gone all day so we went out to dinner on Tuesday night. The Beans watched our kids...ALL OF THEM! YEA!! NO KIDS!! It was great! I can't believe we have been married 8 years! Where has the time gone. Just when I think that, I look at my 3 kids and say...oh yea..there it is. I still feel like I just graduated from highschool, then I look at my 3 kids, the crow's feet and um..shall I say few extra pounds and say...man I am getting older! I love it though, and woulnd't go back for anything.

1)on nursing....totally feeling you there...I TOTALLY felt like the diary queen with Mailee...it makes you feel so sexy right? :)

2)Happy anniversary. Made me laugh when you said that you asked where the time went and then saw your 3 kids...hahahha

3)potty training. Ella holds her poop for days and then still on occasion poops in her underwear...but lately she's done better because we got her a more cushiony seat to sit on... I think it hurt her little bum...who knows...he'll get it!

Hi bella! I saw your comment on Misty's blog. This is Jenn Anderson. Sounds like you are doing well! Can't commiserate on nursing but I can on sassy toddlers!

Bella, okay so here's the deal. Jakob, my oldest, would NOT go poop on the potty. He was terrified to sit down but fine with standing up. So this is what we did. We took him to the store and he picked out a toy that he REALLY wanted and we told him that when he sat down and went he would get the toy. It sat for three days on top of our kitchen cupboards and then wahlah! Like magic and then after he did it once and was praised things got a whole lot easier. Hope this helps.

OK, so I can say that I totally remember the feeling of "udderness" which I know is just around the corner again. And as for the potty training...UGH! Tyler did SOOOO good for the first two weeks with the whole deal, but now he won't poop on the potty either. Seriously, we have regressed and it is SO frustrating! I have to remind myself that eventually it will come but it's hard to know which angle to address it...positive, negative, ignoring it, etc, etc, etc. Basically we've tried it all, but he's just being stubborn, so I guess I gotta back off. :) Isn't potty training just a joy?!!

MOOOOOO! Gotta love nursing. No tips on the potty training, in fact, I'll be coming to you for those I think. YOU are not old, I am old...30 is no longer a distant possibility, but nearly a reality. Yikes!

Bella,
I LOVE LOVE LOVE how you always just say it how it is! You are the best. Sorry I don't have any words of advice because I failed at the first and haven't gotten to the 2nd. But when I do you better believe all be coming to all you moms with experience. This raising a kid thing ain't easy.

Ok, I think the poop thing must be a boy thing. Ayden was the same way for the first little bit. What I did was make sure he had his daily dose of apple juice plus some, and then when I knew that he had to go #2 I would take him in a start a timer. He had to sit for say three minutes til the timer went off. If he hadn't gone in those three minutes then we would try again later and I would up the minutes. Sometimes I read books to him so that his mind wasn't on the potty and when he was distracted and relaxed he would go. Then of course I would stand on my head and cheer and make a real big deal about it. It only took a couple of times of that and he got it. I also made up songs that were silly about Ayden being big enough to go poop in the toilet. Us mothers sacrifice alot of self-dignity don't we!! Good luck!!

Good luck, Bella!

I have advice for going #2, but you may not want to take it. Someone told me to give them a supository to make them go. I did it with Caden cause he wouldnt go on the toilet either, but I had to hold him on the toilet while he screamed, but once he went he was fine and never had a problem again. But Becky Black tried that and now her son is scarred...oops! Hey, what is your email address?
