Planes, Trains and Automobiles

So, Christmas is over! YEA!! But BOO! Hannah had her little Christmas program, which of course she was so darn cute. We had a good Christmas, Hannah was so excited this year and was up at the crack of dawn of course. She really wanted a Barbie the Island princess doll and HighSchool Musical 2 DVD. For the last few months all Zach wanted was a green water hose just like Daddy's! haha Well we finally broke down and got him one for Christmas. Jon had to work that day, so we all got up and opened presents and then the kids and I spent the day doing little projects, and playing with everything they got from Santa. I SCORED this year and Jon got me an automatic remote starter for the car! YEA! I am loving it in this kind of weather. This year I really missed having family around on Christmas. My mother-in-law came out for four days and she came just in time for the kids to get sick. Jake got the brunt of the sickness and is still sick. We finally took him to the doctor and is now on some antiobiotics. Can I tell you how much I hate having sick kids? He hasn't slept in three days...literally! Poor guy, he is doing a better today, but still all goopy. Oh well! I have been having to go to the dentist a lot. DARN YOU DENTISTS!

This is for you Candace....his waweehose.

Okay, so I started this post last week and am just now going to finish it. Jake is now better! YEA! I have been the happiest person in the last two days. Wanna know why? Jake has slept through the night for the last two nights! OH MY GOSH! This is the first time that all three of my children have slept through the night. I woke up at 5 happy and refreshed! I haven't had that much sleep in 6 years! No exaggeration! WOOHOO!

Look at these cute kids! Jake is just crawling everywhere, crawling up stairs, pulling himself up, letting go and cruising around the couches. I don't like it one bit! He is also...as you can tell, thinning out like crazy. We just had his 9 month appointment and he is 19lbs 6 oz! hahah At 4 months he was 18 lbs. I really thought that since he was so huge to begin with he would always be big, nope! He also has 6 teeth now! I can't believe he is 9 months! It makes me so sad to think he will be turning 1 in a few months. Anyways, I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Adorable pictures!!! I was sooo ready for an update on you guys! Be happy that Jake isn't 20 pounds yet. My guess is that at Jack's 9 month appt. in a couple week that he will be 27 pounds EASY! My arms and shoulder and back are KILLING me! Hence the weight is keeping him from crawling and he get frustrated trying to pull up. And 6 teeth, WOW!! Jack STILL only has 2 (for 3 months now). It was so good to hear from you :)

Sleep is the greatest gift EVER! I loved hearing about the water hose as well. I am in Alb right now sitting next to my mom. It is warm and the sun is out and I am not going back to New York. Ever. When are coming out again? I think I leave before you get here.

I feel like I hardly recognize either of your boys. A garden hose, I just love that. It is so much fun to give kids those completely random gifts it is somethingb you will always remember.

Wow, your life is never boring! YOu are so positive, I think if all my kids were sick and I never got to sleep, I would be a very mean person! We are excited to see you in a few weeks!

I can't tell you how sickening it makes me feel when I read or hear about people with older kids still not getting any sleep. I keep thinking Carter will be getting to that stage any day now that he will sleep well. But then I read posts like yours and then "depression" sets in again.

I can't believe how much Jake has trimmed down!! That is amazing!
